I loved him as Shane Donovan on Days and even more as Mr. Not quite sure how I feel about Victor overall but I'd root for him to slap Sonny straight back to Bensonhurst. Victor just looked at Sonny like he was gum on his shoe. I was hoping to see Elizabeth but no luck. This is my town, and Victor was like pfft whatever. I mean look at him with Victor yesterday. Is it bad that I kind of hope they do tangle and Victor wipes the floor with Sonny and doesn't even break a sweat? I can actually see him having a go at Victor if he thinks Victor is somehow going to be a threat to his status quo. However, come to think of it, we are talking about Sonny Corinthos, who never misses an opportunity to do some judicious chest thumping and pontificating to the world at large trying to convince people he is still top dog. I could see him posting a rotation of guards because he thought it would make Nina feel better but yeah, the personal interest is over the top. The only thing I can think of is that he's doing it for Nina since they are friends.
I'm guessing it is just another way to make sure Sonny's nose is stuck in everyone else's business. I can see him maybe being concerned for how this all affects Avery and sometimes Sonny can muster some good will for his collection of baby momma but to provide protection is overboard for him when it comes to Ava. At every turn he has either threatened Ava and/or made sure that she had visitation with Avery only when he says. 12:12 PM - Sep 10I too am confused on why all of a sudden Sonny is providing protection and seemingly interested in Ava's welfare (okay as genuine as Sonny can ever get).
